Mortgage Telemarketing Representative

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Answering incoming phone calls from potential borrowers
• Prioritizing and following up on Internet web leads
• Making outgoing sales calls to potential and former borrowers
• Consulting potential borrowers regarding appropriate loan programs and processes using a high degree of discretion and independent action
• Accepting mortgage loan applications and entering into system
• Obtaining credit documentation, disclosures and other forms in accordance with regulatory and 1-800 East West Mortgage guidelines
• Setting-up digital loan files
• Forwarding loan files for further processing
• Maintaining ongoing contact with current, potential and former borrowers

Candidates Must Have:

• Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA and FHLMC
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, inside sales environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
• Better than average personal computer literacy

Bi-lingual candidates encouraged.
